Loud color and serious protection come together in the Alpinestars Tech 3 Boots Bright Red/dark Blue/yellow Fluo, the newest entry in Alpinestars’ well-known Tech boot range for motocross and off-road riding.

An anatomically profiled shell shapes this boot around the natural form of the foot and ankle, pairing a durable build with a main shell kept as light as possible for long motos. That one-piece foot shell is injected from a dual-compound version of an impact-resistant plastic, reinforced internally by a metal shank and a co-injected toe area; this widely used protective material, more formally known as thermoplastic polyurethane, also shapes the calf plate, medial protector, outer ankle, and heel counter. A bio-mechanical medial blade system allows front-to-rear flex, giving the ankle both support and a natural range of motion rather than locking it rigid. Closure comes from three ergonomic polymer buckles with a micro-adjustable ratchet, memory function, and a quick-release, self-aligning design, all of which are replaceable if damaged. An extended synthetic gaiter helps keep water and dirt from working their way in, while soft foam around the ankle and collar adds cushioning and shock absorption. The upper itself is built from a lightweight, flexible base fabric known for its durability and resistance to abrasion; more on this microfiber material is available on Wikipedia. Inside, a full textile lining manages moisture, and a replaceable EVA footbed with a textile top layer adds arch support. An exclusive high-grip rubber outsole, also replaceable, is profiled for solid feel and control on the footpegs.
