A seamless, thermo-welded upper keeps the profile close to the anatomy of the foot, cutting bulky stitching and pressure points that can distract during a race. Laser-cut perforations across the toe and both side panels feed air through the shoe, while a 3D mesh tongue adds extra ventilation without sacrificing structure. Much of the shoe’s design language traces back to Formula 1 footwear, with the same lightweight priorities carried over for use on the kart racing track, including a reworked asymmetric lacing layout for a closer, more consistent fit.

The closure system pairs an adjustable strap with a speed-lace setup and Alpinestars’ proprietary wire mechanism, delivering support that stays locked in through hard braking and cornering. A rubber outsole shares its thin, sensitive construction with Formula One footwear, prioritizing pedal feedback while its textured surface holds grip. Protection hasn’t been sacrificed for the low weight: external reinforcement wraps the heel and ankle, with internal toe protection guarding against abrasion. A lower-cut microfiber collar at the rear keeps the Achilles free to move, and the one-piece heel and insole construction locks the foot down for confident, controlled driving through every session.
