A seamless, thermo-welded construction fuses ultra-thin PU film with breathable textile, cutting down on stitched seams that can create pressure points during long stints on the track. Laser-cut air intakes across the toe box and side panels, paired with a 3D mesh tongue, keep airflow moving and heat from building up inside the shoe. Formula 1 footwear development directly informs the shoe’s shape, with a revised asymmetric lacing pattern designed to hug the foot more evenly than earlier versions used in kart racing.

The closure system uses a dual asymmetric setup: an adjustable strap works with a speed-lace built from reinforced fiber and locked in place with Alpinestars’ exclusive wire mechanism, holding the foot securely without over-tightening. Beneath the foot, a thin rubber outsole shares its low-profile construction with Formula One footwear, balancing pedal sensitivity with a textured tread that resists slipping. Protection is built into the areas that matter most, with external reinforcement around the heel and ankle and internal padding at the toe. A lower rear collar cut in soft microfiber protects the Achilles, and a one-piece heel and insole construction keeps the whole shoe locked down and comfortable through a full session behind the wheel.
