The biggest change from the previous generation is a revised asymmetric lacing system, designed to conform more closely to the foot for a fit that feels dialed in rather than one-size-fits-all. Instead of heavier stitched panels, the upper uses a thin PU film that reduces seam construction and pressure points while adding durability where it counts. Precision laser cut-outs and perforations run through that film, working with 3D mesh sections to keep the foot cool through demanding sessions. The approach mirrors what’s used in top-level Formula One footwear, scaled for the kart track. Between the lighter build and the added breathability, this shoe is meant to disappear on the foot so drivers can focus on the racing line.
