Premium Composite Shell

The S-R7 utilizes a sophisticated multi-layer shell made from carbon fiber, aramid fiber, fiberglass, and pre-preg epoxy resin to achieve outstanding structural integrity with minimal weight. Fully certified to ECE 22.06 and DOT safety standards, the shell provides excellent impact energy management, high penetration resistance, and exceptional durability.

To further enhance rider safety, the shell incorporates specially designed collarbone relief zones with integrated PLASMA impact inserts. These energy-absorbing components help reduce force transfer during accidents while maintaining the helmet’s streamlined profile. The shell design also delivers an expansive 220-degree horizontal and 57-degree vertical field of vision, allowing riders to maintain excellent situational awareness.

Intelligent Impact Management

Inside the helmet, a precision-designed EPS liner is constructed from seven individual sections using six different foam densities. Each helmet size is paired with a dedicated EPS configuration and one of three shell sizes to create an optimized combination of comfort and protection.

Alpinestars’ patented rotational impact technology is integrated directly into the liner through a specially engineered low-friction layer. This system helps reduce rotational energy generated during angled impacts, significantly lowering the forces transmitted to the rider’s head and exceeding ECE 22.06 rotational impact requirements by 80%.

Crystal-Clear Vision

An optically correct Class 1 visor provides outstanding visibility and features a dual anti-scratch coating for enhanced durability. Its variable-thickness construction improves optical quality while increasing strength in critical areas. The visor is Pinlock ready and supplied with a Pinlock 120 MaxVision anti-fog insert to maintain clear vision in changing weather.

A secure tool-free quick-release mechanism allows fast visor replacement while maintaining a tight weather seal.

Personalized Fit System

The exclusive A-Head Fitment System allows riders to adjust both the height and angle of the helmet for a highly customized fit. This micro-adjustable design improves stability, enhances comfort, and creates a more secure fit across different head shapes.

The removable comfort liner uses antimicrobial materials and features ergonomic 3D cheek pads with eyeglass channels, hydration tube routing, and an Emergency Release System for added convenience and safety.

Aerodynamic Efficiency

Developed using extensive aerodynamic testing, the S-R7 remains exceptionally stable at high speeds while minimizing wind resistance. An integrated rear spoiler works together with sculpted side winglets to reduce lift, improve airflow, and decrease rider fatigue by lowering pressure on the neck.

High-Performance Ventilation

The helmet incorporates an advanced airflow system with 10 strategically positioned vents that continuously circulate fresh air through the interior. Adjustable upper intake vents, chin ventilation, and rear exhaust ports efficiently remove heat and moisture, while dedicated airflow channels help reduce visor fogging for consistently clear visibility.

Communication Ready

The S-R7 is fully prepared for integration with the Alpinestars A-Connect Communication System, supporting Mesh 3.0 communication technology, premium Harman Kardon speakers, and advanced noise reduction capabilities (sold separately).

Every helmet includes a clear visor, Pinlock 120 MaxVision insert, breath deflector, chin curtain, and premium storage bag. Despite its advanced construction, the helmet weighs only 1,390 g (Medium), offering an exceptional balance between protection, comfort, and lightweight performance.
