Developed from Alpinestars’ extensive motorsport expertise, the Alpinestars S-R7 A-Core Helmet Ece06/dot Black Gray is engineered to deliver exceptional protection, aerodynamic efficiency, and rider comfort on both the street and the racetrack. Combining an ultra-lightweight carbon composite shell with advanced impact-management technology, the S-R7 offers the confidence riders need when pushing the limits. Every component has been carefully designed to reduce weight, improve stability, and provide an uncompromised riding experience.
The premium multi-composite outer shell is constructed using carbon fiber, aramid fiber, fiberglass, and pre-preg epoxy resin to achieve outstanding structural strength while maintaining a remarkably low weight. Certified to both ECE 22.06 and DOT safety standards, the helmet also features integrated PLASMA collarbone protection inserts that help dissipate impact forces and reduce the likelihood of collarbone injuries during a slide. A refined shell profile delivers excellent aerodynamic performance, minimizing drag and maintaining stability at higher speeds while reducing rider fatigue.
Innovative Safety and Precision Fit
Inside the helmet, a sophisticated multi-density EPS liner utilizes seven individual sections across six density levels to optimize energy absorption in the event of an impact. Alpinestars’ patented rotational impact technology creates a low-friction layer that helps reduce rotational forces transferred to the head, providing an additional level of protection during angled impacts.
The patented A-Head Fitment System allows riders to customize both the height and angle of the helmet, creating a secure and personalized fit that improves comfort during long rides. Removable antimicrobial liners, ergonomically shaped cheek pads, an Emergency Release System, eyewear channels, and hydration tube compatibility further enhance everyday usability and long-distance comfort.
Engineered for Visibility, Cooling, and Control
The S-R7 is equipped with a premium Class 1 optical visor featuring dual anti-scratch treatment for crystal-clear vision in varying riding conditions. A secure tool-free quick-release mechanism enables rapid visor replacement, while compatibility with the included Pinlock 120 MaxVision insert helps maintain clear visibility by minimizing fog buildup.
A highly efficient ventilation system incorporates multiple intake and exhaust ports that channel cooling air throughout the helmet while quickly removing heat and moisture. Adjustable top vents, dedicated chin ventilation, and rear exhaust outlets work together to maintain consistent airflow without compromising aerodynamic performance.
Designed to integrate seamlessly with the A-Connect Communication System, the S-R7 supports advanced rider communication and premium Harman Kardon audio (system sold separately). Completing the package are a clear visor, Pinlock anti-fog lens, breath deflector, chin curtain, and a premium helmet storage bag.
