The Alpinestars Radar Shoes Black White are purpose-built pit-crew footwear, engineered for the people working trackside under real time pressure rather than for casual wear.

The upper combines leather with bycast carbon leather panels at the heel and toe for extra durability where scuffs and impacts happen most, and strategically placed perforation zones move air through the shoe to keep feet cool during long, high-intensity shifts. A dual closure system pairs an adjustable hook-and-loop strap with traditional eyelet lacing for a fit that locks down fast and stays secure through repeated movement, and a lower-cut rear collar, padded with lightweight nitrile rubber, protects the Achilles area while keeping full range of motion for quick pit-stop work. A soft, perforated tongue adds comfort at the top of the foot, and fireproof Nomex fabric throughout the shoe adds a genuine layer of heat and flame protection. An ergonomic, multi-compound heel counter offers structural support and stability, and an exclusive rubber compound outsole is paired with soft EVA cushioning underfoot for grip and shock absorption on hard garage floors. Every pair is developed and homologated to FIA 8856-2018 standards, giving pit-crew staff footwear that is built for the job, not just styled to look like it.
