For riders who spend more time exploring than commuting, the Alpinestars Maxdura Drystar Xf Laminated Armored Shell Aluminum/walnut/rust Brown is built to keep pace with changing terrain and changing weather in the same ride. It leans on a 3-layer laminated construction rather than a traditional stitched-in liner.

That lamination bonds the waterproof membrane straight to the shell fabric, cutting bulk while still holding up to 15,000mm of waterproofing and 15,000 g/m²/24hr of breathability, so moisture stays out without trapping heat in. Reinforced panels sit across the shoulders, elbows, and forearms, the areas most exposed in a spill, while zippered vents at the torso, biceps, and back let riders cool down quickly once the trail gets demanding. Removable Nucleon Flex Pro CE Level 2 armor protects the shoulders and elbows, and the mesh liner underneath includes pockets ready for optional chest and back protector inserts. Extra volume built into the torso leaves room to run the Tech-Air Off-Road Airbag System, so the jacket can grow with a rider’s setup over time. Adjustable sleeve cuffs, forearm volume control, and a shock-cord hem keep the fit secure across long days in the saddle, and the whole jacket meets CE Category II AA Class certification for adventure motorcycle protection.
