Designed with airflow at the forefront, the Alpinestars Kmx-5 V3 Suit White Black Bright Red was developed to maximize breathability while cutting down on overall suit weight for competitive karters.

A newly developed outer shell material blends polyester with polyamide, paired with a soft knit lining, to strike a balance between protection, light weight, and everyday comfort. Circular laser-cut perforations across the upper chest and back work with open-weave mesh panels at the torso sides, crotch, and armholes to move air efficiently and keep the driver cool, whether in the kart or between sessions. Pre-curved, anatomically shaped arms and legs help maintain the ideal driving posture, and a fully floating arm construction, paired with Alpinestars’ new Formula 1-derived extraction handle design, adds both mobility and an extra layer of safety in an incident.

Lightweight knitted wrist and ankle cuffs help keep the fit snug without extra bulk, while thigh pockets provide handy, out-of-the-way storage. The suit is certified to the new FIA 8877-2022 Grade 1 homologation standard, built on an advanced dual-layer construction with reinforced seat-bolt panels designed to reduce bunching. A premium YKK metal zipper with a double slider completes the build.
