Cool, light, and race-ready, the Alpinestars Kmx-5 V3 Suit Black Orange Fluo was purpose-built to boost breathability while stripping out unnecessary weight from the driver’s suit.

The suit’s all-new outer shell combines polyester and polyamide in a blend chosen for protection and light weight, backed by a soft knit lining for extra comfort. Circular, laser-cut perforations sit across the upper chest and back, joined by open-weave mesh panels at the torso sides, crotch, and armholes to keep air moving and temperatures down during a race. Anatomically shaped, pre-curved arms and legs help position the driver correctly behind the wheel, while a fully floating arm construction and Alpinestars’ new Formula 1-derived extraction handle design add both freedom of movement and a safer path out of the kart if it’s ever needed. Lightweight knitted wrist and ankle cuffs keep bulk to a minimum, and thigh pockets offer simple, unobtrusive storage.

The suit meets the new FIA 8877-2022 Grade 1 homologation standard, supported by an advanced dual-layer construction and reinforced panels around the seat-bolt area that reduce material bunching. A premium YKK metal zipper with a double slider finishes the design. Finished in black, white, and orange fluo, this athletic-regular fit suit is built for drivers who want their gear to keep up with serious competitive karting.
