The Alpinestars Gp Race V2 Suit Pc Silver/asphalt/red takes the same competition-grade construction as the brand’s flagship race suit and dresses it in a sharper silver, asphalt and red finish. It’s built for drivers who move up through advanced racing categories and want a suit that performs consistently from practice laps through race day, without the bulk of older-generation designs.

The suit is certified to FIA Standard 8856-2018 and uses a three-layer setup: an outer twill weave made from heat-resistant aramid fiber, backed by two knitted aramid base layers. That layering lifts breathability by around 5% over earlier constructions while keeping overall fabric weight close to 400 grams per square meter, so the suit stays cool without feeling heavy across a full session. An athletic, regular fit runs through the body, with knitted stretch inserts placed at the armholes, lower back and crotch to soak up the twisting and reaching that happens naturally behind the wheel. The back panel has been extended and widened compared with a standard cut, giving the shoulders and spine more room to move during hard cornering. Internal flat-seam stitching keeps the inside surface smooth against a base layer, and the fully floating arm pattern paired with extended shoulders lets the arms swing independently of the torso.
