The upper combines breathable technical fabric with abrasion-resistant material and suede leather, while an internal mesh lining promotes airflow during intense summer heat. D3O ankle reinforcements and reinforced malleolus, toe, and heel areas provide targeted protection without limiting natural movement. An injected EVA midsole supplies cushioning for riding and walking, while the Zplate insert balances longitudinal flexibility with transverse rigidity for added protection against crushing forces. The Groundtrax rubber outsole uses a running-inspired profile to improve walking comfort, stability, and grip on the foot pegs. An OrthoLite X40 footbed adds breathable, durable cushioning through its open-cell polyurethane foam construction. A lace closure, gear-shift reinforcement, and elastic lace keeper complete the practical urban design.
