For riders drawn to bold, dynamic styling, BMW Motorcycle Helmet System 8 Carbon Streak delivers a latest-generation modular helmet built for urban, road, and touring riding alike.

Comfort begins with a lightweight build: the shell is made from 70% carbon fiber, combined with fiberglass and a carbon-aramid mix, absorbing impact well without adding bulk. A variable-density expanded polystyrene inner layer supports that protection, and OEKO-TEX 100 certified polyester padding keeps things soft against the skin over the course of a long ride.

Available in two shell sizes, the helmet keeps weight optimized regardless of fit, and a large spoiler refines aerodynamics to reduce neck strain whether riding with the helmet closed or open. Head and visor ventilation is easy to adjust, and clear vision holds up thanks to an integrated sun visor, an anti-scratch main visor, and a PinLock 120 anti-fog insert. The helmet also comes pre-equipped to accept the ConnectedRide Com P1 intercom, sold separately.

Protection is anchored by the MIPS Integra TX system, limiting rotational force on the head during a fall, alongside a neck retention system and a micrometric buckle for a secure, precise fit. The modular design locks across multiple joints and opens with a single press of the central button, guarding against accidental activation, and carries approval for use in the open position.
