BMW Motorcycle Helmet System 8 Carbon 2026 Lynx pairs a striking graphic finish with a latest-generation modular design, built for urban riding, touring, and road use alike.

The shell is constructed from 70% carbon fiber, blended with fiberglass and a carbon-aramid mix, keeping weight low while absorbing impact effectively. A variable-density expanded polystyrene inner layer adds a further level of protection, and OEKO-TEX 100 certified polyester padding stays comfortable against the skin over long stretches of riding.

Every aspect of comfort has been refined, from two available shell sizes to a large spoiler that improves aerodynamics and eases neck strain whether the helmet is closed or opened up. Ventilation at the head and visor adjusts with ease, and clear vision comes through an integrated sun visor, an anti-scratch main visor, and a PinLock 120 anti-fog insert. The helmet is also pre-equipped for the ConnectedRide Com P1 intercom, sold separately.

Safety centers on the MIPS Integra TX system, which reduces rotational force on the head in a fall, working alongside a neck retention system and a micrometric buckle for secure, exact fastening. The modular mechanism locks across multiple joints and opens with one press of the central button, resisting accidental activation, and is approved for use in the open position.
