BMW Motorcycle Helmet System 8 2026 Black is a latest-generation modular helmet built for urban riding, touring, and road use, combining long-lasting comfort with genuine flexibility and protection.

The shell is built from 90% fiberglass and 10% aramid, a well-proven construction known for effective protection in a fall along with balanced weight that helps prevent muscular fatigue. A variable-density expanded polystyrene inner layer adds a further level of protection while keeping weight in check, and OEKO-TEX 100 certified polyester padding, filled with polyurethane, stays soft against the skin across long days of riding.

Comfort runs throughout the design: available in just two shell sizes, the helmet keeps weight optimized, and refined aerodynamics, including a large spoiler, reduce pressure on the neck whether the helmet is closed or in the open position. Head and visor ventilation is straightforward to operate, and the helmet pairs an integrated sun visor with a double-sided anti-scratch main visor and a PinLock 120 anti-fog insert for consistently clear vision. It’s also pre-equipped for the ConnectedRide Com P1 intercom, sold separately.

As a modular design, the helmet locks securely into position through a multi-joint mechanism, opening with a single press of the central button while guarding against accidental release, and is approved for use in the open position. Safety is further supported by an additional neck adjustment system and a micrometric buckle for secure, precise fastening.
