Up front, an auto-lock YKK zipper closes securely and pairs with a padded chin guard so the pull tab never digs into the neck. The shell itself is a lightweight stretch softshell with windbreaker-level wind resistance, holding off the chill during warm-up laps and cool-down stretches alike. Zippered hand pockets keep small items secure mid-ride, and a shock-cord hem adjuster dials in the fit around the waist.
