A full bovine leather build gives the shoe its structure and long-term durability, while a cutaway section at the heel opens up freedom of movement around the pedal box, eliminating pressure points during hard braking or quick heel-toe transitions. Lightness was a priority in every detail: the strap uses just a single layer of hook-and-loop fastening, and the classic laces route through hidden loops along the medial and lateral sides for a secure, glove-like hold that never feels tight. Below, an all-new outsole borrows its geometry from an asymmetric tire tread, staying planted on wet surfaces and shrugging off oil, and its added thickness brings extra cushioning whether walking the paddock or working the pedals. A supportive midsole absorbs shock throughout the stride, and a reinforced toe piece protects against everyday wear at the entry point of the car. A Nomex lining finishes the package, insulating the foot from cabin heat during extended stints. The result is a lightweight, precise shoe suited to serious seat time.
