Construction relies on a thin PU film rather than traditional heavier panels, which trims weight and reduces seams and pressure points that can build up discomfort over a race weekend. Airflow comes courtesy of laser-cut openings and perforations worked directly into that film, backed by 3D mesh zones positioned to pull heat away from the foot. The Red, Black, and White colorway keeps things classic while still signaling serious racing intent. Together, these updates make the shoe noticeably lighter on the foot than earlier Tech-1 KX generations, without giving up any of the structure drivers rely on for pedal control.
