Alpinestars SM3 Heat Helmet Ece06/dot Red/white/black Glossy is engineered for MX, enduro, and off-road riding, integrating advanced technologies designed to enhance ease of use, comfort, and impact protection.

A thermo-injected shell incorporates a special polymer blend with varying degrees of thickness, engineered to deliver the optimal combination of impact protection and light weight — a size medium weighs just 1430g in the ECE version and 1460g in DOT. Maximized ventilation comes from 10 intake vents and seven exhaust ports for strong heat transfer exchange during intense riding.

Alpinestars’ patented low-friction coating is applied to the inner part of the main EPS liner, acting as a slip plane to reduce the rotational acceleration forces that result from certain oblique impacts, mimicking the brain’s own low-friction cerebrospinal fluid. The patented visor release system ensures the visor detaches with a precise, pre-determined amount of force, reducing forces on the rider’s neck during a crash. The fit can be tailored via genuine spare crown and cheek pads in different thicknesses, and an advanced 5-piece EPS inner liner uses four specific densities for optimized impact management. Conforms to both DOT certification and ECE 22.06 homologation.
