The Alpinestars Maxdura Drystar Xf Laminated Armored Shell Royal Blue/dark Gray is built for riders who split time between pavement and trail, where weather can shift without warning. This is a dual-sport adventure jacket engineered around adaptability rather than a single riding condition.

At its core sits a 3-layer laminated shell that bonds the outer fabric directly to its waterproof membrane, rated to 15,000mm of water resistance and 15,000 g/m²/24hr of breathability, so the jacket sheds rain without trapping heat inside. Reinforced overlays sit at the shoulders, elbows, and forearms, the zones that take the most contact in a fall, adding durability without stiffening the fit. Ventilation openings at the torso, biceps, and back let riders dump heat fast once the trail turns technical, then seal back up when the pace or the weather changes. Inside, removable Nucleon Flex Pro CE Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors handle impact protection as part of the jacket’s body armor system, while pockets built into the mesh liner accept optional chest and back inserts for full-body coverage. The cut carries extra volume through the torso specifically to leave room for the Tech-Air Off-Road Airbag System, so riders can add electronic protection later without needing a different jacket.
