For riders who spend as much time walking around as they do riding, Alpinestars Cr-X Drystar Riding Shoes Black Dark Gray/yellow deliver a genuinely comfortable everyday shoe without giving up on real motorcycle protection.

The comfort starts with the shape of the shoe itself: a running shoe last gives a close, secure fit around the foot while still leaving enough internal room to avoid pressure points on longer days. An EVA midsole and a 9mm drop between heel and toe recreate the feel of a performance trainer, making the walk from the parking lot to your destination feel natural rather than clunky, and a removable OrthoLite® insock, built with an Open Cell PU compound, adds cushioning that resists overheating over repeated wear. Sealed inside the shoe, the Drystar® membrane is rated to 5000mm of water resistance and 5000g/m² breathability, functioning much like the waterproof fabric technology used in outdoor performance gear. Riding safety hasn’t been left behind either: a full-length TPU inner sole plate meets CE certification standards, hidden ankle discs guard both sides of the foot, and a dedicated EVA foam layer cushions the gear shift area against repeated pressure. The asymmetric outsole and oil-resistant rubber compound keep footing secure on wet pavement, tying everything together in a dark gray and yellow colorway that’s easy to pair with most riding kit.
