Alpinestars Atom Fia Suit Black delivers FIA-homologated fire protection in a two-layer racing suit built around driver comfort as much as raw safety numbers.

The outershell is a twill fabric paired with an aramid lining, a combination chosen to balance breathability with genuine heat and flame resistance rather than sacrificing one for the other. Inside, a soft knitted liner adds another layer of comfort against the skin, while aramidic knitted stretch panels across the back, waist, and crotch let the suit move with the driver instead of restricting it. A fully floating arm construction, built from the same stretchable knit fabric, cuts down on material resistance during quick, repeated wheel inputs, and pre-curved arms and legs keep the suit from bunching in the driving position.

The collar uses a soft stretchable insert for extended coverage without adding stiffness around the neck, and an adjustable belted waist locks in a precise fit regardless of build. Anatomical paneling through the arms, legs, and torso follows the natural driving posture, ribbed cuffs and wrists round out the comfort details, and a premium double-slidered metal zipper handles quick, versatile entry and exit. Thigh pockets add practical storage, and an exclusive shoulder epaulette design assists with driver extraction after an incident.
