The pant is cut from a single-layer stretch ripstop fabric rated at 270g/m², engineered to balance real durability with the elasticity a rider needs through a full moto. That single-layer, linerless build keeps overall weight down and makes it far easier to slide the pant on over knee braces or guards before a race. Full 4-way stretch runs through the construction, drawing on technology developed for SX and MXGP competition, so the fit moves with the body instead of restricting it in the riding position. The inner knee combines goat leather with a contoured panel reinforced in stretch aramid fiber, giving the pant serious heat resistance and impact durability exactly where it takes the most abuse. Stretchnet zones along the lower legs keep the fit light and airy, and strategically placed laser-cut perforations add further cooling on long, hot motos. At the waist, an SX1 auto-lock magnetic buckle closes down fast and stays locked through hard hits, backed by a silicone inner waistline that keeps the pant from shifting out of position.
